"Growing Pains" started airing on Nick at Nite this weekend, so for last week's Recast challenge, I asked you guys to pick new actors for the roles Dr. and Mrs. Seaver, Mike and Carol, and, of course, Mike's sidekick, Boner. Many of you took it upon yourselves to cast the roles of siblings Ben and Chrissy Seaver, too, and I really admire that extra bit of effort!

Ok, so the only "Growing Pains" photo I could find is a little bit too old, since the actors' ages don't exactly meet up. But it's funnier that way, right?!

I'm disappointed....I feel like the actors chosen are already played those types of characters. Bob Saget did the dad on Full House, Felicity Huffman's the mom on Desperate Housewives, and the O.C. kids are the kids here. Chad Michael Murray's a good choice for Boner though.
(I actually kind of agree with Felicity being Carol, come to think of it.)
1These are pretty good matches. Felicity is a great pick and I really like Abigail Breslin as Chrissy. These recasts are fun!
2I really like this cast, it seems pretty on-target. And Colin Hanks isn't from the O.C., though he was in a movie called Orange County. He's really funny.

5Oh my gosh, I didn't realize that the winning recast would be made by one person. I thought it was a poll to see which character gets the most votes instead of one winner picking the entire recast. So double oops on me. Congrats Intern07!
