- If there was going to be a word of the week it would probably be "covers." We were subjected to another week of Beatles covers on American Idol, Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" was an iTunes hit, and even Rilo Kiley got in on the cover song action. Also: does a 90210 remake count as a "cover" of sorts?
- Some of you like the idea of turning TV shows into comic books. I like the idea of turning a comic book hero into Michael Cera.
- I've been running around the 2008 Paley Festival in L.A. this week, and have returned with reports from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion panel plus the scoop on Chuck and Friday Night lights.
- Based on casting news alone, the Ricky Gervais movie is going to be so awesome. Based on Sarah Jessica Parker's comments at ShoWest I'm a bit concerned the Sex and the City movie is going to break my heart, but still be awesome.
- Finally, Hollywood said a tragic goodbye to one of it's most talented directors. Anthony Minghella died on Tuesday at the age of 54.
