Well, folks, here it is: Your first real look at Britney Spears' highly anticipated guest spot on How I Met Your Mother. Pop had a split second clip of her earlier this week, which was enough to get us excited but not really showcase her role. As we know, she plays Abby, a receptionist at Ted's dermatologist's office who falls for Ted — almost immediately, if these little clips are any indication. So OK, I'm not laughing out loud yet (though there's one Tom Selleck/Magnum reference that's not too bad), but hey, it's Britney. Talking. On TV! im just glad that britney is getting herself back together. this is probally just the begining. im really happy 4 her and i think that she is starting a new chapter in her life.

11Wow, I'm actually really surprised at how good it looks. I love the show, but when I heard she was guesting I kind of groaned, recalling painful memories of her other acting stints (FYI I just typed "stinks" by... accident?) This looks promising, and I hope it really will garner tons more fans of the show because it's really one of the best on television right now, but so underrated!

While I do believe she has some serious issues and needs professional help, I think it gets blown out of proportion. Lots of stories have a certain spin, to make her look bad.
