PopSugar has written about the new Jennifer Garner movie, Catch and Release, which opens Friday. January 26. Though I think Garner is pretty good at these easygoing romantic roles, she's not the main reason I'm interested in this movie. I'm far more intrigued by the fact that Kevin Smith has a roll in the film, since he's the comedic mind behind some of my favorite films, including Clerks and Chasing Amy.

I got to see this last year at at test screening. I loved Kevin Smith's character in the movie. He rocks! Kristine
1I love Kevin Smith . I think he is a Genius. Can't wait to see him in this movie. He is the reason I will catch this at the theater instead of waiting for the dvd. Dogma is my favorite of his movies.

Hmmm...his name as director will get me to see a movie, but I'm not sure about his acting (though S.Bob is one of my favorite characters EVER). IMDB says that Grant cast him after she saw his Q&A, An Evening with Kevin Smith...like she hiding in a closet throughout the 90's.
4I love Jennifer Garner movies and I can't wait to see this one. I entered a contest for free tickets in a local news show. (Fingers Crossed)
5based on the relase date i'm not expecting much from this movie. it was going to be a summer release and so i'm thinking test audiences didn't like it and now it has this crappy release date. what could be worse than the weekend after oscars are announced? everyone will be going to see the nominated films, ya know? i like her though and the plot sounds interesting.
