Awesomely, a teaser trailer has arrived for the highly anticipated crime thriller Righteous Kill, which has brought together Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino for the first time since they starred together in Heat (1995). Both men look grizzled and tired, which works quite well for the weathered old cops they're portraying. The two are veteran NYC policemen trying to hunt down a serial killer who targets recently acquitted criminals. Though it's just a teaser trailer, it's still totally exciting to see these two powerhouses onscreen together. Righteous Kill is scheduled to open September 12. I am SO excited for this to come out!!! Didn't know they were making a movie together, yay! As an aside - every time I see that actor from the beginning of the trailer (the released con) I always think of Anthony Michael Hall.
1I'm excited! De Niro and Pacino are two of my favorite actors and I'm glad they're getting a chance to work together again. I can do without 50 Cent though.
2DeNiro and Pacino---what a great team. Looking forward to this one!
3Oh, interesting, didn't know they were teaming up again. Love Heat!
4Looks like it's going to be a good one.
I'm not 100% sure if my eyes were clear or not, but PLEASE don't tell me that was 50 Cent that I saw a glimpse of...
5I may get lynched for saying this, but I think that both Pacino and DeNiro are overrated.
They are both talented and charismatic, for sure, but I feel like every time I see a movie with either one, they are just playing themselves. They don't disappear into their roles like, say, Gene Hackman or Kevin Spacey.
There are exceptions, of course. But generally, they both play themselves.
6i say this over the weekend, can't wait!
7DeNiro, Pacino & John Leguizamo, too?!!! Excellent!!
8Pacino looks so old
9Simply awesome! The was so much tension on the few minutes screen time they shared in Heat, it really left me wanting more. They make acting so effortless, true class. Can't wait for this!
10Hi, I am with Merscom and we just developed and published a game inspired by Righteous Kill (called, aptly, Righteous Kill: The Game). I think it would be fun for anyone interested in the movie and would love it if you could take a look at (and get a free demo): http://www.righteouskillgame.com/
I would also love to hear your feedback as we are planning a sequel to the Righteous Kill game. Please email me any thoughts or ideas, my email is LSM@merscom.com
Thanks and enjoy our game
