Okay, I'm willing to give The Love Guru a huge chance based on the cast alone: Mike Meyers (natch), Romany Malco (Conrad from Weeds!), Justin Timberlake (dressed all funny and bewigged), John Oliver (hilarious British guy from The Daily Show) and Ben Kingsley (funny because of, you know, his Oscar-winning performance as Ghandi). Oh, and Jessica Alba's in it too.
The new trailer for The Love Guru looks silly in the Austin Powers kind of way, though less charming and less humorous. Still, I have sorely missed Mike Meyers in recent years and it's oddly comforting to see him back in action. According to IMDB, Meyers plays a guru who travels to the U.S. in the hopes of breaking into the self-help business. "His first challenge: To settle the romantic troubles and subsequent professional skid of a star hockey player (Malco) whose wife left him for a rival athlete (Timberlake)." *sigh* Jessica is really pretty but I think she should go back to doing shows on TV. I don't think she has the skills for movies.

8Neuroticone, I agree. Jessica is a beautiful girl, but her acting is terrible!!! I had to turn off Good Luck Chuck b/c I couldn't stand watching her.
Justin looks hilarious! He should really stick to this sorta stuff..like his SNL skits.

10Jessica Alba bugs, but I think I'll still go see it... I mean Beyonce didn't really stop me from seeing Gold Member and I can't stand her.
11My friend was one of the final 3 girls up for the role that Alba got. She looks basically exactly like Alba is supposed to look in that picture- which is weird. Feel sad for my friend

16Reasons NOT to Watch:
-Just plain bad.
-Justin Timberlake isn't funny, something about his acting strikes me as too...something, his sense of humor is just bad. I want to be objective but it could be that I just don't like him in any capacity.
-Mike Myers could have done waaay better...
-Is that Megan Good?
-Jessica Alba is a weak actress, and is in bad movie, after bad movie. She needs to grow as an actress.
