To me, there's no such thing as too much Tim Gunn. The always dapper, dryly funny papa hen of "Project Runway" is the person I'd most like to take with me on a shopping trip — or a fancy dinner, or really anywhere. I was thrilled to learn this week that he's getting his own show, "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style." But that's not the only reason Gunn's been the word on everyone's lips recently, so let's take a spin through some of the other Tim Gunn news:
- Tim Gunn hasn't signed a contract for the next season of "Project Runway," but Bravo's president recently said she expects he'll be back. Come on, Tim, make it work!
- The folks over at Blogging Project Runway have started a petition to get Tim Gunn to host "Saturday Night Live." They previously petitioned for him to be named one of People's sexiest men, and, well, that worked out.
- His book, Tim Gunn: A Guide to Quality, Taste and Style, is slated for release May 7.

2I love Papa Gunn! He's so dry it kills me. He would be hilarious on SNL. I loved last season when Kayne made that dress, and after he finished his explanation, Tim said, "Oh Jesus."
