According to a post on FilmSchoolRejects, Will Ferrell stated at a recent event that he has been thinking of bringing his Anchorman character, Ron Burgundy, back to the big screen for a sequel.
What do you think about an Anchorman sequel? Can you handle more of this guy who is, "kind of a big deal"? Would you only want to see it if Ferrell's costars Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd and Steve Carell were also to return?

I hate dumb movies and Anchorman was one of the stupidest. I'll pass.
I hated the first one; in fact, I stopped watching less than half way through. Dumb, dumb, dumb!
i don't think that they could really do a good sequel to the first one - it's not like it's one of those storylines that leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next. they should just leave well enough alone. although i have to admit if they came up with a decent plot, i might entertain the thought.
um, no. will ferrell, do something else! you're digging a career hole.
I loved that movie, it was soo funny. But i am not sure what they could do with it, but if everyone returned and they made one i would of course see it.
LOL... I'll watch anything with Will Ferrell in it at least once.
Only if the whole original cast was involved.
Anchorman was his funniest movie to date. But I don't know if a sequel is a good idea....
I barely watched the first one all the way through, why would I put myself through that sort of pain again only worse.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that movie was so bad. so bad.
Am I the only one that loved Anchorman?! Heck yeah I'd see a sequel!!!! Brick was the best!
noooo anchorman 1 was wonderful by itself. a sequel would ruin it!
Anchorman is hilarious, I genuinely feel bad for people who don't find it funny. Sequels are never a good idea imo, but I would absolutely see it.
I thought it was a funny movie. I'd definitely watch the second one.
yesssss!!! the first is my fave movie!!
I'm gonna have to agree with ccsugar on Brick being my fav!
The "Yeah I stabbed a man in the heart" part is my favorite.
One of the best movies ever.
I loved Anchorman, it was so cheesy and funny. Unfortunately I'd see anything with Will Ferrell.
I'll see anything with Will Ferrell.
Yes! But only if the cast was the same, particularly Steve Carrell.
Um. Hell Yes I Would!
i don't think they would do a good job.
ohhh hell yes! love it!
they wrapped everything up at the end of the other one - what is left to tell?
I don't know what they could do with a sequel. The first was funny, but not hilarious. I would probably Netflix it.
