The last bit of info we got about M. Night Shyamalan's next project, The Happening, was a spooky and vague teaser trailer that has since been taken down. In its place we now have the full-length trailer for the movie, which opens June 13, and it's even creepier than the first one was.
"There appears to be an event happening." This is basically all we learn about the plague that hits the US in The Happening, but it's also all we need to know. In fact, the mystery surrounding the event makes whatever's "happening" that much more frightening. To see what I mean, and to catch more of a glimpse of Zooey Deschanel and Mark Wahlberg in the trailer, read more.

I saw this preview when I saw Jumper....I can't wait for it to come out... Looks sooooo good!!
1Sounds pretty good. It sounds kinda similar to The Stand but without some of Stephen King's typical horror elements.
2Certainly intriguing but I think my plan will be to wait for the feedback and then decide. Your not gonna trick me AGAIN Night!
3I saw this preview when I went to see Jumper too!
4*chills!*
5looks great
I've been disappointed with M. Night Shamamalalalamamama before, but I love Zooey Deschanel and Marky Mark enough to see this.
6Sweet
7Marky Mark as a scientist? Riiiight...
But I'll probably see it anyway, just because it looks interesting.
8Look's so good! I'll be there...
9kaenai that was my first thought as well, when he asks the students about the bees it sounded like if they didn't answer he was gonna kick their ass. I'll be there though-I like a good apocalypse movie.
10It looks good but too scary for me. Zooey looks good in this movie though! I could do without Marky Mark however.
11The first trailer really freaked me out - this one is a bit more vague, but still somewhat disturbing (the bodies falling from the building...ugh!) I may or may not see it. It won't be another 6th Sense, but it might be the closest he gets.
12I saw the trailer when my husband took me to see Jumper, and I thought it was really interesting, and the more it built the more I was looking forward to it.
Then it said "An M. Night Shamawhatever Film" and that killed it for me. I have not liked any of his movies.
13I'm not a fan of that zooey girl, but mark wahlberg was good in the departed. M. night Shyamalan has done one good movie, The sixth sense!.. Unbreakable, Signs, The Village and Lady in the Water was painfully bad movies! so i really hope this on is good!
14i love m. night. i didnt like sixth sense. but everything after that I am a fan of. I cant wait for this to come out...
15Will definitely be waiting for this to come out on DVD or even HBO. Been disappointed by his movies in the past (loved Sixth Sense though!). Not paying $8+ to see this in the theatre.
16I'm soooo unbelievably excited for this movie! Love his movies so much.
17I actually LOVED all of M. Night's movies except Unbreakable and the movies I didn't see with Julia Stiles. I don't understand why people don't like his work. Needless to say, I can't wait!
18I saw this trailer last weekend and it got me interested in the movie. Plus anything that has Mark Wahlberg in it is defintely a must-see for me!
19This looks good regardless of the fact that it's M. Night Shyamalan's.
I just hope it's more like The Sixth Sense and The Village then Lady in the Water. I love Paul Giamatti but that movie was just stupid!!
20Like some of the other posters, I saw the preview before Jumper. I don't know if I'll be able to watch it or not. I can't watch the post-apocalyptic movies anymore. Makes me want to get all kinds of survival gear and build a bunker in the country. I know, it's only Hollywood. My brain's kind of crazy that way.
21I want to see it but I poo-poo the title.
22VERILY, i am curious what about this movie reminds you of The Stand? The stand is about a human made supervirus that wipes out 99% of the population, and than there are two groups left good and bad, God and Devil to fight, i dont see the similarities but for lots of people dying.
23I remember seeing The Sixth Sense at the movie theater and screaming outloud, I wasn't the only one btw. Since then, I have always said I will not see Night's movies in the theater. Too much for my weak heart lol.
24This movie looks great. I love M. Night´s movies, so I will definitely go and see it at the movies. Love Marky Mark and Zooey, and the guy from Ferris Bueller is in it too. lol
