Since we're all about to go into "O.C." withdrawal, it's a good thing Bravo has brought back "The Real Housewives of Orange County." The show, which offers a super-soapy glimpse into the real lives of the really rich, premieres Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 10 p.m. This season, there's a new woman on the block: Tammy, who once lived in one of the biggest houses around before losing her fortune. The whole first episode is already online, so here's a look at part one:
But that's not all. To hear what Bravo's doing with the O.C. kids, read more
Rumor has it that the real kids of the O.C. are getting their own online show. Webisodes of "The Real Kids of Orange County" are slated to go online every Tuesday night.
Bravo's also got a contest going to find the best real housewives from around the world. Contestants must submit three-minute videos of themselves and their families to a YouTube group, and the winner will appear in Star magazine and on Bravo. I don't know how you can compete with the Hugh Hefner party that housewife Jo attends in the first episode, but I'd love to see people try.

These women are so sad. They need to start a book club. Someone could read to them.
1This is actually one of my few guilty reality TV pleasures, I'm slightly ashamed to admit. But there does come a point when I throw up a little in my mouth, and the show must be turned off.
2This show is absolutely disgusting. These women are vapid wastes of space.

3I find this show really funny because I use to live in the OC. Actually I find any show trying to depict the real OC funny. Of course there are all the rich people, drugs and drama. But there are tons of people who are not that way. But I guess they wouldnt make good tv then
4Have you seen the ads, where one of the women says "I crave money...It doesnt' matter if I have one car, I want three more"...??? What's wrong with these people??
5hey jess, i'm from orange county, too! i think all of these shows should take a trip down to little saigon or santa ana to see the real "oc"!
6The first season of this has just started in the UK and I honestly can not believe that this is now in its second season. It is really one of the most useless programmes on TV
7Yes, I am embarrassed to admit that I lived down in the OC for WAY TOO LONG! Fortunately, I escaped! WHEW! I am one of those HAVE NOTS...but the HAVES--are REALLY as bad as this stupid TV show..And, the dumb kids on LAGUNA BEACH. I am SO GLAD I am no longer in the OC
8hahaha, that is so funny

9wonder if it will ever reach our shores here in sunny SA?
i love Laguna Beach, the kids are so, like, NOT REAL!

Hilarious show.......I love how that 'money craver' - thinks her kids are NORMAL? I mean, doesn't every 16 year old get a $60K car I love how she constantly walks around and says that her brothers are the 'chosen ones'.
Those parents are INSANE.....the dad is totally dis-connected with his family. The Keough's are who I am talking about.
At least Vicky WORKS hard.
10I love this show! And I like the women! But I can find good things in just about anyone.
11I guess THAT is what you end up with when you marry a former pro-baseball player, Matt Keough. He USED to play for the Oakland A's. Strange how now that M. McGuire is "retired", he is reclusive and probably lives behind a GATED community in THE OC. Maybe they both LIVE on the golf course--and LIVE to play golf everyday. That seems to be what retired pro ball players do. I believe that his "career" is over now. Poor mom--she sells million dollar houses, then comes home to her CRAZY family. Why did she marry Matt (I believe this is WIFE #2)--He is USELESS?! Esp. around the family!
12i agree this show is sad. highly materialistic people who dont work hard for their money have no place in our society. =/ dunzo..
13They all drive me nuts. Talk about wasting money. It's one thing to enjoy the fruits of your labors- but when people are starving I don't see any reason to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on clothes and jewelry. Those O.C. women have no sense of perspective.

14I cant even begin to imagine having that much money
15I am embarrassed to admit I love this show...
