Does ABC's regular Thursday lineup need some cheering up? Pretty soon, the night won't just be Ugly and Grey — it'll be Lost, too.
That's right: According to TV Guide, Lost, which has been airing in the normal Grey's Anatomy time slot, will move to the 10 p.m. slot after Grey's starting whenever both shows have new episodes to air — probably sometime in late April. Ugly Betty will reclaim its 8 p.m. slot when its new episodes are done.
On the one hand, that's great news for someone like me who's a fan of all three shows, and it's nice that ABC's putting something good in the post-Grey's slot again. On the other hand . . . dang, that's a lot of TV for one night. Besides, I'm really enjoying having Lost on at an earlier time. Call me an old woman, but I like my sleep, and Lost is the kind of show I could stay up dissecting way past my bedtime.
What do you make of the news? Are you happy to have these three heavy-hitters all in one night? Or is it just too much to take?

I can't wait until Grey's Anatomy comes back on!
1I wish they would put it on Wednesday. It's sort of disappointing to have all my shows on one night!
2i can understand why they are doing it like that - but i think that it's a lot of TV for one night. i guess it depends on what other shows they have during the week. they may want a stronger lead in for Cashmere mafia - but oh well - that's just me thinking out loud again.
3I know I'm probably in the minority, but I HATE GREY'S ANATOMY. It does seem kind of weird to have such strong shows airing consecutively -- I agree that moving LOST it to another day might be better, though can't say it would be a logical lead in for Cashmere Mafia. Mostly I'm irked by this news because I like my sleep and would rather watch at 9 than at 10.
4I wish they were putting Lost back on Wednesdays but I'm glad they're moving it to 10 so it doesn't interfere with The Office.
But I hate having to stay up so late to watch it. Buzz, my recaps will be even later come spring.
5I'm with you, Buzz... Lost at 10pm is a little bit rough. But three of my favorite shows on one night is pretty sweet.
6I'm fine with Ugly Betty and Lost being on Thursdays. I don't like Grey's Anatomy, but that's space I can fill with The Office.
7sucks for Lipstick Jungle
8Yikes. I kind of like LOST at 9pm and, like a girl way too invested in my tv programs, I don't like the idea of it changing.
9I cannot get into Grays Anatomy-nor do I want to, ugh. Just put Lost back on Wednesdays wtf. PS Whats gonna happen to Eli Stone?
10Good news is this means I can go back to watching CSI-yay!
11TiVo, people. TiVo.
12Lipstick Jungle and Eli Stone will both be done with their first seasons by then, I think — Eli has 13 episodes and Lipstick did just 7, and I don't think there are plans for either of them to go back into production right now. Either of them could get renewed for the fall, though.
13Ugh, I'm so sick of them moving Lost around! It never gets a steady schedule. It's a show that requires a lot of thinking and having it on so late keeps you up way too late trying to figure out what you just saw! But I wouldn't miss it for a second! Shoot they could air it at midnight and I would still be up just to watch!
14yay, Grey, Thursday
15I had the hardest time getting into LOST when it was Wed at 10pm. If it wasn't for my DV-R, I'd never be able to stay up for it.
At least I can watch it Friday mornings before work.
16Speaking of Grey's, did you see Denny (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is engaged to Mary Louise Parker!!!!! Congrats to them, they're so cute together.
17Lost and Grey's on Thursday is very intense.
18Too much for one night, they need to spread them out! I was really hoping Lost would go back to 9pm on Wednesdays, 10 is too late for me too! I think Lost needs its own night!
19So true hotstuff.
20Im cool with it on thursdays tho.
yah, i much prefer Lost at 9.. GRRR!
21That just means I'll have to watch in the next day. I can't stay up so late to watch it! BUMMER!
