Check out this lovely, vintage-y cover art for Panic at the Disco's next album Pretty Odd, due to release March 25. Today I got ahold of the single off this album, "Nine in the Afternoon," and I gotta say it's pretty fun.
Not the most memorable of tunes, "Nine in the Afternoon" is still enjoyable in a bouncy, skip-down-the-sidewalk kind of way. Something about it — maybe the piano-strings-horns combination — makes me think of musical theater. The colorfully surreal video for the song only helps along this idea, as it has a larger-than-life vibrancy that I associate with stage and movie musicals.
Take a listen for yourself and tell me what you think. Will you check out the rest of Pretty Odd when it hits shelves? To hear "Nine in the Afternoon," click here.

I liked them, but I'm kinda growing out of this kinda music. I'm not sure why.
1I like Panic! They are coming to concert with the new album and I am torn whether or not to go. Their shows are amazing, so different.
