The commercials that aired during this year's Super Bowl were pretty hit-or-miss, but the ones that "hit" really made me laugh or, in the case of the Wall-E spot, made me grow a little misty-eyed. After the jump, check out my five favorite Super Bowl spots — from talking stains to talking babies — and tell me which ones you liked as well. To check them out, read more.
Bud Light: Ability to Breathe Fire
I have rarely been a fan of Bud Light commercials in the past, but some of their Super Bowl spots this year were pretty funny. I laughed out loud when I first saw this guy sneeze fire, which is just a hilarious concept.
Etrade: Bobo the Clown
Yeah, talking babies, when done poorly, are creepy and just wrong. Something about this little guy's adultish nuances and average Joe chatter just cracks me up, though. And this Bobo the Clown spot is infinitely funnier than the other E-Trade baby one in which he ends up puking. That's just gross.
Coca-Cola: Coke Floats
Get it? "Coke floats"? I love these silly, whimsical Coca-Cola ads. Not only is this a funny concept, but it's beautifully made. Also, Charlie Brown wins! It's so satisfying.
Tide: Talking Stain
Not only does a shirt stain talk in this Tide commercial, it shrieks in another language. Awesome. Also, the stain babble could be your new ringtone, which is just wonderfully absurd.
Wall-E Trailer
OK, first off, this trailer has Toy Story's Woody and Buzz Lightyear debating the virtues of Wall-E ("I hear he even goes to infinity." "But not beyond.") while tucking into a gigantic bowl of popcorn. Then there's Wall-E himself, making friends with a vacuum cleaner, accidentally sucking up a cricket, and then making a mess trying to save his little buddy. What's that? Crying? Me? No, no, it's just onions. Onions. Right.

Wall-E was SO cute!
1I loved the Coke one with the ballons!! It was so funny!
For the most part though, I was pretty disapointed with the ads. It seems to me for the last two or three years they have all gone downhill.
2What about the Budweiser commercial with the horse in training.
3I liked the Doritos one and the one with the dancing salamanders/lizards
4I loved the NFL ad with Ephraim Salaam & Chester Pitts (Mr Oboe)!!! I thought it was HYSTERICAL!! "Here's a guy living the dream. He didn't even HAVE the dream until I told him to dream it!" I loved it. So funny.
5I agree with Binkyob!!
6Awww...Wall-E.
7The coke one was pretty cute! My favorite was the one with the carrier pigeons..I think it was for FedEx?
8I thought the ETrade & the Dorito commercials were pretty funny. I also liked the Budweiser-horse in training one.
9The coke one was cute and I liked the Wall-E one
10what about the tire one with ALICE COOPER AND RICHARD SIMMONS!!!??? completely random but i loved it
11Coke floats battle, the Timberlake Pepsi, and the talking stain were the most popular among our crowd. Didn't like the What Is Love bobbing head commercial, but the Chris Kattan cameo was great. Could have done without the Thriller video; you can't top Filipino prisoners doing it.
12Justin Timberlake's ad was hilarious! I loved all the cameos.
13I loved that budweiser commercial and the tide stain one. I too really enjoyed the Ephraim Salaam & Chester Pitts commercial for the NFL. I was trying to explain it to my husband but it got lost in translation. Oh well.
14I thought the Bridgestone tire ones were both funny...the ones with the screaming animals and the one with Alice Cooper/Richard Simmons.
15I loved the Alice Cooper/Richard Simmons one. But the one for the same tire company before with the screaming animals was the BEST!
I did really enjoy the Coke float where Charlie Brown wins, and the Clydesdale Rocky one
16The Bridgestone one (screaming animals?) was one of my favorites, as was the talking stain one. And yes, finally, Charlie Brown wins out. It's about time. Good grief.
17why are people in Canada not allowed to watch these?!?
18halfbakedjake — It might be a Hulu thing. They're also on YouTube so you can try that over here
19The Richard Simmons one had me howling, it was so funny. I also loved the Charlie Brown one though.
20Most of the ads were underwhelming, but the Bobo the Clown spot did make me smile, unlike the other ad where the kid throws up. Gross.
21The first E-Trade baby commercial creeped me out, but I liked the clown one. "Yeah, I totally underestimated the creepiness factor." lol..
22I kind of liked the one with Naomi Campbell. I thought it was cute and she looked great
23Out of this 5, My fave is definitely the 'coke' one.
24But I think Stewie should've won, he is way sneakier than the other 2...lol.
since i live in Canada, i didn't get to see any of the cool and exciting commercials during the Super Bowl, so i had to go on myspace.com and look them up. some were hilarious!
25eh. not really impressed. thanks for posting them though!
26I'm surprised you didn't pick the Budweiser "Cheese Run" commercial!
27i liked the one with charles barkley and the budweister "cheese run" one, but my two favs were the coke floats (yay charlie brown!) and the wall-e trailer. i'm officially dying to see that movie
28I loved that Bud Light ad and the ETrade baby! So funny! I also like J.T's Pepsi stuff ad; that made me laugh.
29I loved the Doritos one ! Probably my favorite with the Bud with the ability of breathing fire hahaha... I live in Canada too, but when you watch an HD channel, you get the US commercials yay !
30I loved the Planters unibrow one and the Doritos one.
31Wall-E was cute, but I couldn't help thinking "Number 5 is ALIVE!" the entire time. Looks a lot like that short circuit robot.
32These were all my fave too!
