Donald Trump made headlines recently by fighting with Rosie O'Donnell and shaming Miss USA, but all that publicity still couldn't get anyone excited about the premiere of "The Apprentice: Los Angeles."
Sunday night's episode was the series' worst premiere ever. It got whupped in the ratings by "Desperate Housewives" and "Brothers & Sisters" on ABC and "Without a Trace" on CBS. Perhaps worst of all, it lost 20 percent of the audience that tuned in earlier for "Grease: You're the One That I Want".
Apparently not even adding Ivanka — and throwing in that twist where the losing team sleeps in tents — could get people buzzing about the new season. What happened? Did Trump's bizarre bickering with Rosie turn people off? Or are we just finally sick of looking at his hair?

the worst part is that the 'best' character got fired right away
1martin was a jerk, he would have been fun to watch throughout the show!
2i really liked ivanka
3trump is an arrogant ass. i'm so sick of him. he's up there with paris to me; enough!
2007?
4I agree Val
5Seems like all the pre-show publicity backfired. Can't say that I'm sorry.
6This show has run its course. If Donald were a decent man with a modicum of integrity, he'd put it to rest.

8((Ooops; sorry fr the double-post. The board hiccuped.))
9Does anyone still watch this craptacular show???
10Evidently not. **points to the title of Buzz's post**
11it seemed like apprentice meets sh*tty survivor...it was worse then the surreal life cause it was aordinary people instead of washed up celebs.
12Ha ha that really really made me happy. heeheeheee
13I can't stand DT ! Even a "billionaire" can't escape Karma.
14I think its run its course too. The last couple seasons were so repetitive. At least they tried to do something new, but I'm not upset that it didn't work. I did check it out, and I thought the Project Manager was a tool too.

I still love the idea of this show...I only caught a little bit of it, but I thought Ivanka was great. Maybe she should take over?
I DID NOT like the idea that the losers had to sleep in a tent. That's just dumb. As though the rewards weren't great enough for the winning team!
Anyway, Sundays are busy days for me, but I'll watch it when I can.
And, I hate Rosie so much, I love Trump to spite her.
16i agree butrfly. i can't stand rosie. its almost like any enemy of hers is a friend of mine...almost.
17Ugh, I am totally on Team Rosie with this one. Trump is such a disgusting, horrible man and he SHOULD be publicly insulted because all anyone does is kiss his butt. It's so gross and ridiculous. I don't love Rosie, and I think she was wrong with the whole Kelly Ripa thing (not to mention basically outing Clay Aiken) but in this case I agree with her - he IS a "snake oil salesman!" And that's putting it tamely. And he reacted like a toddler.
18I hope the Apprentice goes away forever.
Ha ha ha to the Don. I know its mean but I like Rosie O'Donnell.
And I was wtchn DH, so I don't even know if it was bad. But by the ratings Im presuming it was.
