While most of us had our attention turned to the Super Bowl this weekend, Miley Cyrus fans headed to the theaters in droves to make Disney's 3-D pic Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour the highest-grossing Super Bowl movie of all time.
Jessica Alba's thriller, The Eye came in a distant second, pulling in $13 million compared to Hannah Montana's $29 million. The Katherine Heigl-James Marsden romantic comedy 27 Dresses came in at No. 3, followed by Juno. After being knocked down last week, Juno's return to the top five brought the indie's total gross up to $110 million.
Meanwhile, Cloverfield continued its slide down the list to No. 9, bumped out of place by flicks like Rambo, and Untraceable. Looks like moviegoers were in the mood for leading ladies this weekend!

Will someone clue me in. Who is Hannah Montana?

2jspark — Good question! At least, it is for anyone over the age of 12 or so. Miley Cyrus (Billy Ray's daughter) plays this character named Miley Stewart on the Disney channel show Hannah Montana. On the show, Miley Stewart lives a double life as an normal teenage girl during the day, and a famous pop singer (Hannah Montana) at night. The show — along with "Hannah Montana's" music — has become massively popular with the pre-teen set, and Miley Cyrus now performs concerts as Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana.
3This film is a 3-D movie of her concert.
PLUS it was only on about 600 or so screens and it STILL beat everyone else.
I love Miley.
4I went to see that with my friends sisters over the weekend--we went to a midnight showing because everything else was sold out! What a cool way to spend my Saturday night. I will admit I had a blast though.
5That's kinda crazy, about how Hannah Montana has become so popular in so short a time. But I'm happy that There Will Be Blood was at #9
6i wanna see it so bad! since i never got a chance to go to the actual concert. however the movie isn't playing in my city but I'm sure it will be playing eventually! *fingers crossed*
7i don't understand why she's become so famous! She has an alright voice(but there's nothing special about it)and her acting isn't wonderful. Everyone I know is obsessed with her and I just don't get it! Her show is funny (at times) but i just don't get it!
8she has the voice of a man!!! she can't sing at all, but i'll betcha she's gonna go the road that Britters took!
9I don't care for her music/show however that is because I'm past that genre now. However for pre-teens she is a much better role model than say Paris Hilton. During my preteen stage it was a young Hilary Duff as Lizzie MGuire so I compaire Miley to what Hilary was for me, than I understand why kids like her.

12Hannah Montana: The Movie is not working that much like the 3D Concert Tour. But the Hannah Montana series is still kicking. Anyone know if there will be Season 4 for Hannah Montana?
